Business Accountant, Nottingham

My client, a leading UK based manufacturing company, is searching for a talented Business Accountant to join their expanding team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day activities of the Finance function including the supervision of the credit control function, dealing with internal & external queries and deputising for the Financial Director as necessary. You will be required to deal with product costing, VAT reporting, the month end management accounts and the monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.

A recognised professional accounting qualification is required (preferably CIMA). A good know of large Enterprise Business Systems (preferably SAP) and at least intermediate Excel skills are essential. The individual should have prior experience of working in a manufacturing environment and a good knowledge of product costing, VAT and general financial accounting.

Salary is up to circa £35,000 + benefits.
